The purpose of governance is to provide confident and strong strategic leadership which leads to robust accountability, oversight and assurance for educational and financial performance.

An academy trust is a charitable company limited by guarantee and has both 海角黑料ees and Members. 海角黑料ees are both charity trustees and company directors of the academy trust. The board of 海角黑料ees, also referred to as the board of Directors or the 海角黑料 board, is the governing board, and is responsible and accountable for all the schools within the Multi Academy 海角黑料. Members are ‘eyes on and hands off’ and have a similar role to the shareholders in a company limited by shares

Governance vacancies

Searching for ways to develop yourself professionally this year? Wanting to contribute to your local community? Or wondering how you can support the education of children and young people? Becoming a governance volunteer could be the answer!

We always welcome approach from people interested in taking on a governance role.

In particular, we currently have vacancies for the following governance roles:

• Hub board chair
• Parent council member
• Hub foundation representative

Our hub boards play an important role in monitoring the educational performance and pupil experience for a group of 4 to 6 schools.
